The movie is a horror/thriller that was filmed in Australia. It was low budget and released between 1986-1995. I think one of the stars is named Cassandra. it featured a disturbed young woman who takes in a pretty blonde roommate. The roommate is set to inherit money and has some gold coins. The disturbed girl steals the coins and also decides to steal the roommate's inheritance by killing her and impersonating her. She dumps the roommates body down an old mine shaft. She continues to kill people and winds up falling into the mineshaft herself trying to dump another body. Sweet or Lies might be in the title
