Old lady named Ruth cooks in a nursing home

The young Harold lives in his own world of suicide-attempts and funeral visits to avoid the misery of his current family and home environment. Harold meets an 80-year-old woman named Maude who also lives in her own world yet one in which she is having the time of her life. When the two opposites meet they realize that their differences don’t matter and they become best friends and love each other.

Ruth, an elderly lady with dementia, becomes lost within her own home. As she tries to find answers, she ends up losing herself further, confusing reality with memories of her past self.

After killing an elderly woman in a nursing home, Ruth befriends the woman's neighbor and a strange relationship develops between the two women. In their conversations Ruth reveals her life as a contract killer.

Ruth, a 37-year-old has taken care of her ailing mother for years, to the detriment of her personal and professional life. Now that her mother is on the verge of dying, Ruth suddenly finds herself inside her mother’s subconscious and through some key memories, learns to let go, and realizes that it’s not too late for her to start over.

She believes that her home is infested with bugs and that they live inside her, too. Ruth’s pregnant young caretaker, Shannon is grappling with her abandonment by the baby’s father, a race-car driver. As Ruth’s cognition deteriorates, these two women overlooked by society leave an indelible impression on each other.

An old woman, 92 years old, leaves her big house to visit her daughter, 73, who is settling in a retirement home.

When tragedy strikes their family, Ruth, her mother-in-law and sister-in-law are left poor and struggling. Despite the danger, Ruth decides to accompany her mother-in-law, Naomi, back to her husband's homeland.
