Eight very different couples deal with their love lives in various loosely interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London.

This is a show that focuses on the brave and straightforward love of ordinary adults from late 20s to mid-40s. It concerns relationships, marriage, and a multitude of social interactions. The show will invite 12 men and women to stay under the same roof for 30 days. Some may become couples in the end while others might part ways. In the TV studio, the celebrities and the ordinary people will gather together to follow the series and share their opinions and experience about love.

Director John Cameron Mitchell starts with the concept of using real sex in a film with a positive message. The cast of unknowns is selected from homemade audition tapes and then a callback audition workshop. More acting workshops are used to develop the characters and script. The project overcomes a number of obstacles and the rest of the film's development is followed up until its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
