Caveman touches a rock

Romulus, a misunderstood musician turned recluse hiding from personal demons in a New York City cave, finds the frozen body of a young drifter in a tree. The authorities, including his police officer daughter, claim the death is accidental. Romulus is convinced the man was murdered by a prominent art photographer but how can he prove he's right when everyone thinks he's insane?

Disgraced and cast out of his tribe for lusting after Lana, the mate of the tribe's head muscle man, Atouk stumbles along gathering other misfits and learning a bit about the world outside of his cave. Eventually he and friends Lar and Tala learn the secrets of fire, cooked meat, and how to defend themselves from the brutal, yet very stupid dinosaurs.

A cave man gets up in the morning to walk around hitting things with his club. After knocking a huge dinosaur out cold, he uses the stiff dino's body as a saw, using the spiny back bones as the saw's teeth. He battles another Neanderthal for the prize of a pretty cave girl, but she uses a club on him after he wins.

Stone Age. The caveman goes out hunting. Escaping from a wild animal, he throws a stone axe at it. Then he drags the animal's body back to his cave, where he plays a wooden flute. While the man was walking, a ball falls from the sky, and he gets the idea to build a machine in his head. At first it was just a cart. Time flies quickly, and the man finds himself in the 20th century, where he transforms the cart into a car and tests it.
