About Stand By Me
The series "Stand By Me" explores the challenges faced by 12th-grade student Hoàng Khang, who carries the burden of his family's livelihood. Raised by his grandmother, who runs a small chè stall, Hoàng Khang feels pressure to succeed and not add to her worries. This situation sets the stage for a narrative focused on responsibility and the transition into adulthood, often found in drama and family-oriented programming.
Amidst Hoàng Khang's struggles, the series introduces Quốc, a character who consistently offers support and care. However, Hoàng Khang frequently rebuffs Quốc's affections. This dynamic hints at themes common in boys' love narratives, where emotional complexities and relationship development are central. The interplay between these characters and their evolving relationship appears to be a core element of the story, shaping their individual journeys and the overall plot across its 16 episodes.
