movie where a town is trapped inside a blue line

A small town is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. While military forces, the government and the media positioned outside of this surrounding barrier attempt to break it down, a small group of people inside attempt to figure out what the dome is, where it came from, and when (and if) it will go away.

Chai Jing's documentary about the massive smog problem in China. Chai Jing started making the documentary when her as yet unborn daughter developed a tumour in the womb, which had to be removed very soon after her birth. Chai blames air pollution for the tumour. The film, which combines footage of a lecture with interviews and factory visits, has been compared with Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth in both its style and likely impact. The film openly criticises state-owned energy companies, steel producers and coal factories, as well as showing the inability of the Ministry of Environmental Protection to act against the big polluters.

Two strangers get lock down in an empty cinema for four hours and connect through their struggles of war life and their lives before the war, but not everything is as it seems.

A group of people go to a summer house for a vacation, unaware of the perils they will undergo during their stay. A school doctor who accompanies them plans on blackmailing one of the women in the group as he got hold of her diary. Relationships are blurry and chaos starts when one of them dies. Escaped convicts have entered the vicinity and have destroyed the main bridge, rendering these people unable to escape. Now trapped and scared, what are they going to do?

Short movie

The gang play inside a railroad box car which suddenly closes, trapping them inside. The next morning they find themselves in New York City. After seeing some of the sites on foot, they steal a 5th Avenue Bus, and are caught by the police.

Due to the constant temptation of a filmmaker/writer to express himself, he creates a rarefied and abstract world. He alienates himself from what is happening outside, until he realizes the vulnerability of his physical presence.
