Vignettes weaving together the stories of six individuals in the old West at the end of the Civil War. Following the tales of a sharp-shooting songster, a wannabe bank robber, two weary traveling performers, a lone gold prospector, a woman traveling the West to an uncertain future, and a motley crew of strangers undertaking a carriage ride.

Two teenage friends run away from home on a car that belongs to the brother of one of them. They believe that they break free from the whole world. But at some point, they have to accept the fact that their escape was not a protest, but a dreadful mistake.

‘Girls’ is about two underaged teenage girls who embark on a runaway from home. Their plans slowly fall apart as they spiral deeper into their discovery of self and maturity, eventually leading nowhere.

Runaway Girls is a lost 1928 silent film drama directed by Mark Sandrich and starring Shirley Mason and Hedda Hopper. It was produced by Harry Cohn and distributed by his Columbia Pictures, then a fledgling studio.
