Soldiers drinking water from poisoned well in the desert

When an explosion at an oil well threatens hundreds of lives, a crack team is called upon to make a deadly desert crossing with nitroglycerine in tow.

In a run-down South American town, four men are paid to drive trucks loaded with nitroglycerin into the jungle through to the oil field. Friendships are tested and rivalries develop as they embark upon the perilous journey.

Starts off in the 15th century, with Connor McLeod training with another immortal swordsman, the Japanese sorcerer Nakano. When an evil immortal named Kane kills the old wizard, the resulting battle leaves him buried in an underground cave. When Kane resurfaces in the 20th century to create havoc, it's up to McLeod to stop him.

Balthazar Blake is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath. Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler, a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé. Water sustains; its absence extinguishes vitality. In the remote Gobi Desert, a mother and a son make their living herding camels. Their wells have dried up, leaving them without fresh drinking water. The two fight for their lives by digging a dried-up well, but there's only enough water for the livestock. Desperate for water, the mother resorts to selling her body. They continue digging, and finally, water emerges.
