Gods of Egypt 2016

A common thief joins a mythical god on a quest through Egypt.

"Gods of Egypt" was a huge box office success but the true Gods were more ancient and mysterious than fiction. Powerful and deadly, all knowing, and all seeing, they were the original Masters of the Universe. They originated many thousands of years ago in a land far away from Egypt. From the Gods of the underworld, Osiris and Anubis; to the Gods of light such as Amun-Ra and Horus; the lives and actions of the Gods of Ancient Egypt explain our very existence and our place in the universe. Prepare to experience the Real Gods of Egypt and the original Game of Thrones

The defiant leader Moses rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, setting 400,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.

The JBGODS introduce themselves to planet Earth with one of their own gods named Pharaoh.

Made by a team of animators at Dreamworks while they were working on The Prince of Egypt, this faux trailer uses high tech animation to parody The Ten Commandments and The Clash Of The Titans. The film was made to be played at the wrap party for The Prince of Egypt, but went on to play at the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival in 2001. Subsequently the film has become an obscure oddity amongst Godzilla fans.
