70s film boy frees a goose

The story of a modern family bored with the hassles of the city life in Los Angeles. They head for the wilderness never to return.

Set in the year 2024 in post-apocalyptic America, 18-year old Vic and his telepathic dog, Blood, are scavengers in the desolate wilderness ravaged by World War IV, where survivors must battle for food and shelter in the desert-like wasteland. Vic and Blood eke out a meager existence, foraging for food and fighting gangs of cutthroats.

11 year old Davy discovers that a chained gentle dog, Buck, is badly wounded around the neck because of the thick, tight collar he is made to constantly wear by his unfeeling owner. When Buck comes through the fence and becomes stuck, Davy removes the collar. Even though the boy tells him to stay in his owner's yard, the dog follows him home.

A young peasant boy stands up to tyranny, aided by his trusting friend- a goose.

This deaf-and-dumb young man who is called ‘the Goose’ by his scoffing acquaintances makes the most psychedelic of journeys by fax machine. Like a goose leaving for the sun in the winter, this anti-hero is looking for somewhere else to find his own voice. Absurdist drama that makes eager use of stop-motion carpet figures, silent-film references, computer animation, video and arcade games.

A pinioned trout-farm goose takes a wild gander for her mate. But when he's blown off course in a storm, and then winged, he's going to have to make his way back to her on foot, past predators and customs officers. Meanwhile, the trout farmers worry about their goose raising a brood on her own and a pretty young woman who's come to fly fish.

Vigo is a nerdy teenage boy who lives in a fictional world and simulates a virtual game called “Gooseboy,” which enables him to become free as a flying bird. One beautiful day, to the surprise of the boy, a goose accidentally bumps into his balcony. It appears that the gander can speak human language, but sadly he is not able to fly. Vigo and the goose embark on a journey to the north and try to find and catch up with the gander’s flock.

Grieving young Will Donnelly looks to protect his new best friend, a talking goose, from school Principal Congreve Maddox, who's fattening up the bird for a Christmas cook-off.
