Sam convinces high-priced lawyer Rita to take his case pro bono and in turn teaches her the value of love and family.

The young man moves to Nairobi where he finds a community of queer men. It is there that he meets Alex, who he falls in love with. But coming out to his family is far from easy, particularly given the Kenyan Law which continues to criminalise homosexual relationships.
