Every day, on the streets of Canada's cities, we pass them on our way to work or school. Bums, beggars, winos, bag people we call them. But who is the person at the end of that outstretched arm? What is life on the street really like? Is there a way off the street? For six years, director Daniel Cross followed the lives of three homeless men who spent much of their time in and around a Montreal subway station. Filmed in a cinema verité style, the film is unique: it humanizes the homeless, breaking down the barrier between us and them, neither moralizing nor offering easy answers. This is a gritty, compelling look at life on the streets that moves beyond the media stereotypes to show both the humanity of the homeless and the street-toughened aspects of their existence.

It also requires them to trek through the ‘most dangerous jungle in the world’, the Darien Gap. In this documentary special, the CNA crew bring to light why the Chinese migrants been driven to such desperation, and if the American Dream is all it’s made out to be.

North London band Wolf Alice have had a rise to prominence that might have been bends-inducing were it not for their tightness as a group. Brothers Lung and Fu were raised in Nam Tin housing project. Fu always thought joining the underworld is his only way out. Fu's girlfriend Yi is raped by local bully "Four Eyes" Keung. In a rage Lung and Fu attacked Four Eyes and injured him. They know they can't stay in Nam Tin and decide to move to Portland Street for a new life. Later in a gang fight, Fu insults Keung's boss, Crazy Fai and is chased by him and his gang...

Street Fury was a TV show on G4 that showcased women and cars. It was hosted by Carlton "Big C" Lewis. Along with Formula D and Fastlane, the show aired Sunday nights, as part of the "G4 Sunday Nights" block. It was at one time the main show for a G4 block called "The Whip Set", but the block name was dropped in late 2005. The show is often criticized for focusing more on scantily-clad models and for portraying negative stereotypes of the African American and Latino communities. The show was produced by G4 Media, and is loosely based on the Tokyopop version of Street Fury.
