1970'S MOVIE WOMAN CUTS HERSELF AT DINNER TABLE

Five friends head out to rural Texas to visit the grave of a grandfather. On the way they stumble across what appears to be a deserted house, only to discover something sinister within. Something armed with a chainsaw.

Philipp Escott returns to the roots of THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE, accompanied by familiar filmmakers and critics, delving into the reasons behind the movie’s impact on an entire generation and its perpetuating legacy.

A woman goes on an introspective journey about the nature of self-sabotage after accidentally cutting herself with a razor.

A difficult night out sparks a traumatic memory for a woman whose way out is to ritualistically harm, then fix herself. Intercutting the two states of the protagonist's psyche, rich golden sweeps from the past begin to bleed into the reds and blues of the film's present.

After her boyfriend dumps her, a young woman goes into her bathroom and begins to masturbate with a toothbrush. Autoeroticism gradually turns into self-mutilation, and she attempts to eat one of her own fingers. She then asphyxiates herself, and the focus changes to another woman, who also begins to mutilate herself. She starts with a fork, switches to a knife, and before long is stuffing her red guts into her mouth. She kills herself also, leading us back to the first girl – who apparently is still alive.
