One of Japan's most enduring stories is the true-life yakuza boss Jirocho of Shimizu and his gang as they took over the Tokaido Highroad and went on to everlasting fame. Many of the gang members have become household names although their backgrounds and how they came to join the group are mostly lost in the mists of a time gone by. This is the tale of Masa, who arrived in Shimizu Port hungry and down on his luck. His adventures contain some light-hearted moments as he meets up with the other gang members and goes on to join the group and become one of their best swordsmen. A truly exciting tale starring the ever-popular Okawa Hashizo along with all-time great Okochi Denjiro.

Segawa Kiichi, a former delinquent, happens to encounter a lonely 10-year-old girl who looks like she is going to be killed by the Yakuza. He saves her by reflex and later realizes that she lost her memory. She doesn't know why the Yakuza are after her and Kiichi is attacked time and again because of that. With his own life in sudden danger, he calls on six friends from his high school days as a delinquent. These enthusiastic, single-minded men band together to protect her to the end.

A young female director travels solo to Tokyo, where she accidentally meets an extravagant character, 63-year-old Yamada-San, who dresses like a woman and who was never accepted by society. The two of them only communicate through the camera and arbitrary translations of strangers, who overcome the fear towards Yamada-San this way, and so begins a chain of changes.

Koujirou moves to Tokyo from Japan's northernmost island of Hokkaido and insists on bringing his favourite horse, Hikarikin, with him. The alien king Rel arrives from planet Wedelun and gives him a belt that will allow him to transform into a Miracle Hero and to protect the world from alien menaces. He is more interested, however, in impressing the pretty Yuka, though his rival, Michinari, wants her for himself.

TV short showcasing a tournament to decide the mightiest “great person” throughout all of Japan’s history. The competitors include Benkei, Himiko, Prince Shotoku, and Amakusa Shiro. While fans and scholars of Japanese history and literature will probably get the biggest kick out of this, DBZ fans also have a lot to enjoy as none other than Son Goku provides a running commentary on the (over-the-top) fights with Masaharu Miyake, an announcer for Fuji TV.

High schooler Masahiro Setagawa is a fairly helpless delinquent, so much so that the neighborhood bullies use him to run their errands. His life changes when he meets high school teacher Kosuke Oshiba, a man whose fighting abilities have earned him a powerful reputation on the streets. Oshiba finds himself with a desire to protect Setagawa, and despite swearing that he's not interested in men, Setagawa finds himself getting more involved in Oshiba's affairs.

In the midst of the depression, two ronin rack their brains to come up with a dishonest scheme. Taking a man from the countryside, they fashion him into Ise Isenokami, the finest swordsman under the sun. Pretending to be his followers, they visit various sword fighting dojo. Out of fear upon hearing the name Isenokami, they pay him off and do not let him enter their training halls. The impostor eventually comes face to face with the real Isenokami after rescuing his daughter, Oyae, who is caught up in a minor incident.

Two men, a freeter (played by Shusuke Fukutoku) and a man who used to be a non-combat solider (played by Junpei Goto), becomes involved in a cruel crime.
