Camera mans model goes into the bathroom and has a wank

Set in 1977, back when sex was safe, pleasure was a business and business was booming, idealistic porn producer Jack Horner aspires to elevate his craft to an art form. Horner discovers Eddie Adams, a hot young talent working as a busboy in a nightclub, and welcomes him into the extended family of movie-makers, misfits and hangers-on that are always around. Adams' rise from nobody to a celebrity adult entertainer is meteoric, and soon the whole world seems to know his porn alter ego, "Dirk Diggler". Now, when disco and drugs are in vogue, fashion is in flux and the party never seems to stop, Adams' dreams of turning sex into stardom are about to collide with cold, hard reality.

In a bathroom, a big lady undresses. Shot of girl in bath back, perched on a stool watching her through the window over the door. The girl then changes the door and moves her escabot with a smile. In the other bathroom, a man manages to nail a client's feet.

When give a digital camera to Peeping Tom...

Set to smooth, jazzy, smoky bar-room music, two young women safely lock themselves in a make-believe bathroom. With the camera positioned as a mirror over the sink, the women proceed to douse their chins with shaving cream, shave and slowly get dressed in male black tie mode. Indulging in the secret pleasures of acting out the bathroom rituals of men, this film makes a playful and witty foray into gender bending and cross-dressing.

A super8 camera is being soaped and cleaned under the tap. The film plays with alternating perspectives. Images filmed over my shoulder are spliced through images taken with the camera that is being washed and images from my body under the shower. At some point in the film, I open the battery and film compartments of the camera and proceed to pour water and soap through its inner workings. Here the trickery that is at play fully reveals itself. The camera that is washed is not the one that is doing the filming. This film explores relations between in- and outlooking from a camera, and the in- and outside of bodies, those of the cameras and of the filmmaker.

A work that incorporates live-action fast-forwarding, live-action stop-motion animation, and a few cel animations. A number of strange events that occur in a room. I left the camera in the empty room after moving and took a month to shoot.
