In 1979, a group of college students find a Sumerian Book of the Dead in an old wilderness cabin they've rented for a weekend getaway.

A teacher and his five female students are attacked by a monster with neon-green eyes. The teacher escapes but his students are completely dismembered. He soon discovers the monster is worshipped by a cult whose ambition is to rule the world and tear the clothes off young girls.

Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda find a log cabin in the woods with a voice recording from an archeologist who had recorded himself reciting ancient chants from "The Book of the Dead." As they play the recording an evil power is unleashed taking over Linda's body.

This documentary provides film fans with an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the horror comedy about a man who must lead a medieval army to victory against a horde of undead in order to return to his own time.
