Directors such as Stanley Kubrick, Andrei Tarkovsky and David Lynch had mastered the art of liminal spaces, long before it became an internet aesthetic. This documentary aims to explore and demystify the strangely familiar world of liminal spaces.

A sleeping young man remains trapped in a raging subway car heading for an unknown surrealistic location, after crossing the terminus.

Sometimes, a crazy looking person enters the subway, and suddenly, a void is created around him. But what would happen if you chose to stay and treat him kindly? Perhaps, you would discover that inside him, there is someone who was once sane. Or maybe, you would discover, that deep down, we are all a little insane.

A mysterious man, wearing a mask with eyes on it, is unable to go anywhere because he is plugged into an electrical outlet. He sits in an alleyway while various people visit him, curious about who he is and why he is there.

The journey is focused on his attempts to find his way out, to learn the house's language, what's she is trying to say, to take and give away. Badly does he know the only way out is in.
