After a professor is crippled in a car accident, he blames his wife for the ordeal and attempts to have her killed using the same means. Now hospitalized with amnesia, she appears to be protected by a tiny voodoo trinket that she still clutches in her hand, which possesses her car and other objects, causing mayhem throughout the city.

After a stay in a hospital it turns out that the accident has granted her extrasensory powers and enables her to see ghosts. Despite being told to ignore her new powers by an occultist, she proceeds to use her gift to help people with their ghost troubles.

A woman named Jules flees her apartment. After she runs down the stairs a flash of light happens causing a table and chair to be pulled towards it. As she reaches the sidewalk and looks around a flash occurs behind the camera when Jules is looking towards it. Her eyes become filled with dark grey clouds before another flash occurs and she is flung into the path of a moving car with her head ending up under the wheel. A man in the other apartment, Ian, hears the commotion from his apartment and grabs his phone before taking a picture of Jules's corpse.
