An over the road trucker has two families

A trucker, an accountant, a former plumber hospitalised after a suicide attempt... Presided over by the accountant, the three families decide to buy a truck, a trucker's dream. The father, practical joker, and larger-than-life lover, keeps a watchful eye. The children are his accomplices. One is his heroine. His daughter is his other heroine. In northern BC, two rival families and their crews as they tackle some of the most harrowing roads and dangerous off-road locations in their custom ‘monster’ trucks. These bands of maniacs will do anything to get the job done.

Documents the lives of three long-haul truck drivers whose routes take them throughout North America - even to the Arctic. The complexity of their work is on display as bad weather, unsafe driving conditions, and rising fuel prices add to the stress of being away from home for weeks at a time. Even so, the film celebrates the joy of the open road and a spirit of independence.

This trucker road movie tells the story of four men driving 30-ton meat-carriers in shuttle service between Denmark and Italy. Against their will, the truckers get involved in criminal activities that flourish as a result of European custom service bureaucracy. Their bonding as friends and their strongly rooted family life help them through.
