In a confined section of a psychiatric ward in Northeast China, patients of schizophrenia, mania, depression, compulsive sexual behaviour and alcohol addition receive the mandatory treatment. As soon as their heads are cleared, they try to break free but always fail. Under the control of drugs and unquestionable discipline, they begin to reflect on their souls, will, desire and thoughts.

The Banewood Asylum houses the mentally ill who have become victims of unethical procedures and mad doctors. Patients have disappeared or been found dead under suspicious circumstances. Young women seem to be the victims most often of a medical staff who's methods hearken to the dark days of psychiatric treatments. The doctors like to use Psycho-Surgery to remove parts of their brains to quell the patients violent tendencies, at times turning them into little more than zombies, that become more violent than ever.

The Forensic Psychiatric Hospital is a medium-security level, closed structure, with a rehabilitation component. The service provided includes psychiatric, psychological, medical, therapeutic and social care. The 32 men who inhabit the unit were considered exempt from punishment by the court. They feel time going by. Slowly. The film settles in this individual time.
