Experimental film shot in Paris and in the forest of Fontainebleau, in black and white with some sequences in color. An ode to vinyl, women's legs and perforated plastic filmstrip.

Breaking An Image is a dusty, scratched record. The needle skips a groove, and the image of Tiffany, 80’s teen popstar, jumps thirty years into the future. The image lands in the Southdale Center, the first indoor shopping center in the US.

A group of assistants “play” vinyl records by hand, scratching, rubbing, breaking and finally crushing them with their feet.
