The Angel of the Lord appears to Mary, announcing the birth of a child, which shall be called the "Son of God." Led by the light of the strange new star, the three wise men of the East journey to Bethlehem in search of the holy child, whose birth has been foretold to them. They are followed by a large retinue of servants and a train of camels, donkeys, sheep, etc., forming in all an impressive caravan. The wise men and the shepherds enter the lowly stable and kneel at the feet of Mary, who holds in her arms the new-born babe. Joseph stands near and watches the touching scene. ...

The film begins with the Annunciation: Mary, a young Galilean, virginal conceived the Messiah, the Son of God. Her husband Joseph, a humble carpenter, decided to stay by his side throughout. When Caesar Augustus ordered the Jews to register people, the couple embarks on a journey to Bethlehem, where Jesus was born. Meanwhile, Maria Magdalena, a young woman from the same town that Mary, turns away from God and placed in the palace of King Herod, Herodias where convinces her to lose her innocence in the arms of the king's son.

Only one woman had the unique privilege to call Jesus her son. Mary was blessed to be the mother of the Savior sent by God to rescue the world from death. Watch as Mary experiences the miracle of Jesus' coming and humbly grows in her understanding that her son is also her Savior. The good news is that Jesus is your Savior too.

Mary is a young girl, daughter of shepherds, promised in marriage to Joseph, a widower with two children, living in the nearby village of Nazareth, in the Galilee of two thousand years ago. Grown up in love and respect for the little ones, Mary, after leaving her home, soon sees the distortions of the patriarchal world surrounding her, starting with her husband's family. Here he reads the oldest brother of Joseph, Mordecai. The sunny and determined attitude of the girl, protective of children, arouses the indignation of the head of the family and those who are convinced of the need to give them punishment, discipline and submission.

Miraculous events herald the Messiah’s appearance. Jehovah reveals how he will save mankind. Elderly Zechariah and Elizabeth are told they will become parents to a prophet. Joseph and Mary will raise the Messiah and must protect the infant Jesus from attack.

The children experience the first Christmas where they meet Mary and Joseph. Mary bears a child, and King Herod attempts to kill the baby.

The world is anticipating this moment in history but no one can imagine God touching His creation in the form of a little baby named Jesus. Much is recorded in the Gospels about Jesus' miraculous birth, to a young virgin named Mary, in Bethlehem, but little is known about his quiet growing up in Nazareth. Joseph, his adopted father, seems to have died well before Jesus turns 30 and begins his ministry.
