Two angels, Damiel and Cassiel, glide through the streets of Berlin, observing the bustling population, providing invisible rays of hope to the distressed but never interacting with them. When Damiel falls in love with lonely trapeze artist Marion, the angel longs to experience life in the physical world, and finds -- with some words of wisdom from actor Peter Falk -- that it might be possible for him to take human form.

A small mountain community in Canada is devastated when a school bus accident leaves more than a dozen of its children dead. This is another curious film from the Berlin Underground about a trio who take shelter in a friend's apartment while he is away for awhile. One of the trio is Lola who teaches French on the side, maintains an out-of-sight hairstyle, and has a 10-year-old son. Another of the trio is a homosexual who supports himself by playing his flute on the street or reading to elderly women. The last friend in the group is Max, whose parents are sending him steady installments of cash to pay for non-existent studies; it seems Max is a writer waiting for inspiration to hit. In the meantime, he and Lola are an item. In the background is West Berlin itself, with its cafes, bars, nightclubs, and street life.

For Blue Movie Agnieszka Brzeżańska invited other women artists in her circle to perform as nudes in an empty dark space to a track by Blondie. The resulting film is an impro-vised free dance of shadows of female bodies. The nudes are captured in casual, graceful or discreetly suggestive poses. one senses a touch of ‘70s psychedelia and pop aesthetic. At the same time, they are reminsicent of a more austere context – the abstract studies of Matisse or the late esoteric nudes of Yves Klein.

Mistaken for bank robbers, two friends stumble into a group of beautiful girls and follow them to Morocco for a dance show.
