The legend of an ancient tree that gave birth to Yosonuviko, the cloud people, reenters the collective memory through the ancient language of rain, Sa’an Savi, evoking the fragility of the human condition amid nature’s immensity. A metaphor for life over time that reminds us of the importance of coexistence with nature.

Through the eyes of four inhabitants of the Mayan jungle, roots of a culture threatened with extermination are unearthed. The preservation of the culture resembles the transplanting of a ceiba tree.

"The Tree of Life" pictures the enchanting mountains of Talesh. It is a picture of birth, love, and death of the old nations living in the misty forests of this land. In a winter, when men crimson the white snow with the blood of the deer, a child is born. His mother recites him the love story of the spring, of the mystery of the flowers' colors, and of the love toward his father. And the father's restless life, gazing at the far away, finds calmness in death in the cold winter.
