A british tv host who is very arrogant doesn't answer the phone to his friends after he finally answers they invite him to a pub where they tell him that one of their friends is dead . When he hears that his perspective changes . He decides to open one of the thousands of letters he receives from his fans . After he reads the letter he decides to find the fan and ask her what she likes in him . He flies to the US . He sleeps in a big house which in possession of a young man that really likes to party . They don't go along very well . After he finds the fan they have a dinner together . He no longer feel bad for himself and with the help of his new friends he decides to chase his childhood dream of becoming an actor . In the end all of his friends gather to watch him performing a play by Hamlet In little theater back in Britain
