Jason Kelly is one week away from marrying his boss's uber-controlling daughter, putting him on the fast track for a partnership at the law firm. The setting is Camp Firewood, the year 1981. It's the last day before everyone goes back to the real world, but there's still a summer's worth of unfinished business to resolve. At the center of the action is camp director Beth, who struggles to keep order while she falls in love with the local astrophysics professor. He is busy trying to save the camp from a deadly piece of NASA's Skylab which is hurtling toward earth. All that, plus: a dangerous waterfall rescue, love triangles, misfits, cool kids, and talking vegetable cans. The questions will all be resolved, of course, at the big talent show at the end of the day.

In the summer of 1987, a college graduate takes a 'nowhere' job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world.

Another of the "progress reports" presented on the TV anthology Disneyland to promote the new theme park of the same name, this episode was designed to bring viewers up to date on the section of the park known as "Adventureland." While there is a great deal of emphasis on "Davy Crockett" tie-ins, the centerpiece of the segment is a filmed trip along the new Jungle Cruise ride. Afterwards, the rest of the episode features the True-Life Adventure film, Water Birds.
