The tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto. The magic of the Encanto has blessed every child in the family—every child except one, Mirabel. But when she discovers that the magic surrounding the Encanto is in danger, Mirabel decides that she, the only ordinary Madrigal, might just be her exceptional family's last hope.

Bruno is a young magician. He travels without warning to visit his sister Delfina, who, along with her partner Leonardo, is renovating an old hotel to get it up and running. The place is in chaos due to the terrible flood that affected the entire city. Living in the hotel are Rita, the former owner of the business; Quique, his brother; Catalina, their niece; and Pablo, the maintenance manager. Bruno's plans are subject to possible changes when he meets Lorena, Leonardo's sister.

Bruno is thirty years old and has a girlfriend, Juliana, with whom he is about to celebrate a decade of love.He loves her, but feels that she no longer captivates him. She wants to be a mother. He doesn't know if he wants to take that step. He fears it could be a mistake, perhaps Juliana is not the woman of his life or perhaps it is too soon. To make matters worse, he is attracted to Lara, his new sexy and young employee. Further confused, Bruno only finds comfort in the company of his father and his old bass. This confusion pushes Bruno to reunite with an old love: music.

Bruno Stein and his family live in a house in Serra Gaúcha and make bricks by hand. Their lives change with the arrival of a stranger who awakens a series of feelings in the patriarch, who is already approaching the end of his life.
