Father lives in attic French movie

A small-time Belfast thief, Gerry Conlon, is wrongly convicted of an IRA bombing in London, along with his father and friends, and spends 15 years in prison fighting to prove his innocence.

A man refuses all assistance from his daughter as he ages and, as he tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind and even the fabric of his reality.

Philippe is a movie star on the comeback trail. He shoots a film in Morocco, which will allow him to find the top of the bill. But nothing goes right, his partner, Alexi, breaks his arm during the shooting of a scene. Later, a phone call puts him in all his states: Julie, his ex-wife, who is a scriptwriter, asks him to keep their young films, Mathias and Victor. Jules Guarneri grew up in Villars, with two adopted siblings, in a chalet haunted by the ghost of his mother who died when he was 20, and where his solitary father still lives; the latter presents him one day with his filmed diary. A cumbersome gift that the “filmographer” uses to make it resonate with his own images, thus forging his own emancipating path towards adulthood.

Antoine lives with his father Gaston. The latter is a voyeur and keeps his son at home through emotional blackmail. Gaston is forced to make a financial agreement with the neighbor across the street, Goran, in order to be able to continue watching Dune, his girlfriend. Antoine meets her and runs away with her.

A self-centered man (Gérard Depardieu) with many diversions occasionally visits his 4-year-old son (Antoine Pialat) and the boy's mother (Géraldine Pailhas).
