Philippe (Richard Harrison) kills Roger (who sold information to the Japanese). Mike (Mike Abbott), Roger's brother, wants revenge and sends Bob, Blackie (Nathan Mutanda Chukueke) to find Philip.

Mike Hama, Private Detective, is a chain-smoking, wisecracking tough guy with a weakness for the ladies and a soft spot in his heart, especially for his kid sister Akane. Mike's so down on his luck he'll take any case, from finding a lost pet to spying on cheating spouses. Mike quickly learns Tony was a courier for an arms smuggler, Simon Stone (John Russell). When Mike meets Stone's lawyer, Samantha Richardson (Vanessa Williams), the two team up to bring down Stone's arms smuggling empire. However, Mike's infatuation with Samantha keeps putting them in greater danger.

A meticulous and ruthless assassin is on an assignment. The only things that stand between him and his victim's violent demise are his ageing body, his hypochondria and a keen eye for good liquor.
