Woman goes into town with dead husband in a cart

Vignettes weaving together the stories of six individuals in the old West at the end of the Civil War. Following the tales of a sharp-shooting songster, a wannabe bank robber, two weary traveling performers, a lone gold prospector, a woman traveling the West to an uncertain future, and a motley crew of strangers undertaking a carriage ride.

On a silent midnight, the woman who killed her husband with her own hands was walking down the street in a state of despair. She accidentally met another woman who demanded that she pay for her murder. So they have to travel together to the ocean–the destination she has chosen for herself to die. Along the way, secrets buried for years are revealed one by one, and the relationship between the two gradually becomes more and more delicate.

In a vengeful quest to find out who killed her husband, a woman ends up exposing her small community's deepest and ugliest secrets.

Cute waitress/hooker is romanced and wed to handsome stranger/funeral director. He, as well as most of the town prefer their women dead. She is the obvious candidate for that position, as his two previous wives were in terrible shape even for dead persons. She must be fleet of foot indeed to avoid their fate.

A dead man, two rivals for the widow's favour. The bald-headed undertaker ruins the work of his rival, the dead man's hairdresser. Each man has worked out a plan for seducing the widow.

A young bride tasked with the trivial errands for her in-laws whilst her husband is in Greece, stumbles across a dead woman’s body whilst fetching the water from the fountain. Pushed to the side both the in-laws proceed to talk to the local news lying about finding the body and revelling in the attention they’re getting. A battle amongst the villagers to get coverage in the news ensues, and the actual crime itself becomes overshadowed. We see the young bride coveting the hair slide from the victim.

A widow is being haunted by her dead husband. She must find a way to face her fear.

Due to the poverty in his hometown, a country boy left his hometown to join his relatives in a faraway place, leaving his wife at home. During that time, a bully coveted the beauty of the country boy's wife and tried to sexually assault her. The wife hangs herself from a beam to protect her chastity. When the country bumpkin returns home to look for his wife, the bullies beat the country bumpkin to death in order to eliminate the root of the problem. The two of them are so desperate for revenge that they return from the dead to take revenge on the bully. In the end, they lead the police to arrest the bully and bring him to justice.
