The story of Auschwitz's twelfth Sonderkommando — one of the thirteen consecutive "Special Squads" of Jewish prisoners placed by the Nazis in the excruciating moral dilemma of assisting in the extermination of fellow Jews in exchange for a few more months of life.

Following a grueling five-week shift at an Alaskan oil refinery, workers led by sharpshooter John Ottway are flying home for a much-needed vacation. But a brutal storm causes their plane to crash in the frozen wilderness, and only eight men, including Ottway, survive. As they trek southward toward civilization and safety, Ottway and his companions must battle mortal injuries, the icy elements, and a pack of hungry wolves.

A scientific researcher, sent on a government study: The Lupus Project, must investigate the possible "menace" of wolves in the north. To do so, he must survive in the wilderness for six months on his own. In the course of these events, he learns about the true beneficial and positive nature of the wolf species.

The plane in which a biologist and an anti-poaching team were travelling on crashed in the extreme cold of the Siberian ice fields. Along with the male lead, is a wild survival expert and a security team among those who managed to escape. The rescue was delayed, their lives were on the brink thanks to the the freezing cold, and they are being threatened by mutant wolves. With the survivors in tow, the hero will embark on a difficult road to survival.

World War II. Arthur, a pilot of the British Royal Air Force, flees cross-country after his plain crashes. He begins a fight for survival in which he will encounter more than German enemies.
