Couple ride a horse off a waterfall

Taking a break from their dreary lives, close friends Thelma and Louise embark on a short weekend trip that ends in unforeseen incriminating circumstances. As fugitives, both women rediscover the strength of their bond and their newfound resilience.

As a woman waits outside of a window, a man rides up on horseback, and she jumps on behind him. As the two of them ride off to elope, one of the man's friends stays behind, in case anyone comes after the couple. He soon finds out that this is, in fact, a necessary precaution.

A large number of horses are swimming a deep river. The cowboys urge them on and do some fancy riding while their ponies swim across. One of the men loses his balance while kneeling on the back of his pony and gets an unexpected bath.
