What is the consequence of losing our view of the night sky? Through a mix of expert interviews, testimonials, and a trip that takes four young filmmakers to Big Bend to experience the night sky like they never have before, this film explores the connection between astronomy, mythology, and original storytelling.

A star lies in space, shutting off. After a failed dance spectacle, he asks the Director of Stars to make him outshine every other star on Earth. Instead, she makes him descend in order to test the meaning of shining.
