Aunt Paula's gone

Mame Dennis, a progressive and independent woman of the 1920s, is left to care for her nephew Patrick after his wealthy father dies. Conflict ensues when the executor of the father's estate objects to the aunt's lifestyle and tries to force her to send Patrick to prep school.

Paula is 11. She is bored at school and has only one friend : Achille. Her father gives her a surprise : they will spend next summer in the house of her dreams by a lake. But time flies, autumn is coming, and they still don't come back.

Paula has never met her mother, her father is already old, and that meeting is urgent for her. Along the way, she picks up clues that bring her closer and take her farther away from her goal, in a physical journey through Buenos Aires’ geography.
