The Devil in non human form

The Devil, in the guise of a human, meets a young couple who remark upon looking at a Renaissance painting of a martyr that Evil could never triumph over Good. The Devil, taking this as a challenge, decides to bring about the couple's downfall.

In this stylish, award winning, action / thriller, a professional thief infiltrates an illegal, back street auction. His well planned robbery is up turned when he realises they are trying to sell an innocent girl as the devil in human form.

DEVIL wants to retire early. He proposes his idea to the judges of hell. He is bored. He argues that he is no longer needed in the human world. Humans are capable of evil on their own. The judges decide to put Devil in a trial programme by sending him to the human world as a mere human. The devil becomes a 34-year old imam (Islamic priest), named Mat Jaelani.
