The main character is named Ricky bobby

The fastest man on four wheels, Ricky Bobby is one of the greatest drivers in NASCAR history. A big, hairy American winning machine, Ricky has everything a dimwitted daredevil could want, a luxurious mansion, a smokin' hot wife and all the fast food he can eat. But Ricky's turbo-charged lifestyle hits an unexpected speed bump when he's bested by flamboyant Euro-idiot Jean Girard and reduced to a fear-ridden wreck.

Ricky is used to win everything. When he is challenged by his new oponent, he has to find his limits.

Bobby is an underachieving high school kid with a deep love for motorcycles. His most recent achievement seems to have been getting photos of himself on a road trip printed in a motorcyclist hobby magazine. When he gets a letter from a girl his age, he decides to write her back.

His love life was a million to one shot. Light wallet, yet big Hearted, Ricky McDown tries to win back the love of his life, the beautiful, socialite Tracy Goldigs. Ricky enlists the help of his friend Janie to whip him into shape; both body and mind, forcing him to be like his hero Rocky. Helping Ricky get the eye-of-the-tiger, and possibly the girl.

Life isn't easy for 10-year old Ricky - his cooler, bigger brother Micha, who just dropped out of school, is always giving him a hard time. Their parents business is in trouble, and with emotions running high, Michas conflicts with his father threaten to boil over. Things change when the tough and headstrong girl Alex and her dog move to town.

Ricky is just out of a young offenders institute, heading home to Hackney and determined to go straight. Instead, he heads straight for trouble when he becomes involved in a street confrontation, siding with his best friend Wisdom against a local rude boy. The trouble escalates into a series of tit-for-tat incidents that threaten to spiral out of control. Ricky's 12-year-old brother Curtis, hero-worships Ricky, though he appears smart enough to know he doesn't want to follow his example. Yet, despite the stern warnings from his mother and support from her friends in the community, might Ricky's bad boy allure be too attractive for Curtis to resist?

Nelly spots Ricky on the street and tries to shout at him, but he can't hear her and disappears around the corner. Aunt Serena is surprised to see Ricky in the shop, exploring the candy shelves, when she should be at home vacuuming. Downstairs neighbour Lennart Lindberg asks Ricky to go fishing, but he never shows up. Is there a Ricky look-alike in town? And if so, where and why has he come to the neighborhood?
