Priest helps young girls and prostitutes hide from Japanese soldiers

A Westerner finds refuge with a group of women in a church during Japan's rape of Nanking in 1937. Posing as a priest, he attempts to lead the women to safety.

Women endure hardship and struggle to keep away from prostitution in the immediate aftermath of WWII. The "Special Comfort Women Association" (RAA) creates a shelter for women to avoid falling into prostitution. Young Fumiko and Yuko will try their luck there.

A young missionary, filled with religious fervor, joyfully accepts the post to carry the gospel to a section of Japan, where white men are not known. His wife and little daughter go with him, and he starts for his station with native guides and bearers.

Two men who run an operation of offering prostitutes disguised as masseuses to inns and resorts lose their best wage earner. Desperate to find a replacement they try to recruit women off the street until they finally scout a white woman and a black woman who are willing to work for them. Business booms as hotel clients get a taste of exotic excitement.
