Tree dragons break the moon

The Targaryen dynasty is at the absolute apex of its power, with more than 15 dragons under their yoke. Most empires crumble from such heights. In the case of the Targaryens, their slow fall begins when King Viserys breaks with a century of tradition by naming his daughter Rhaenyra heir to the Iron Throne. But when Viserys later fathers a son, the court is shocked when Rhaenyra retains her status as his heir, and seeds of division sow friction across the realm.

Sue Perkins is joined by celebrity super fans Rickie Haywood-Williams and Jenny Ryan and actor Daniel Portman as they prepare to enter the House of the Dragon.

A lot of strange, wonderful creatures can be found in a forest, and in this particular forest there is an unusually special sort called the Moonwolves. They are amazed by glitter and all things that shines, like lamps, coins, stars, and their friends, the fireflies. But most of all, they love the moon. Every night the Moon- wolves sit and stare dreamily towards it. One night, their long- ing grew so intense that they decide they couldn't just sit and stare at it anymore. So they decide to go to the moon.

The moon swirls happily around, watching strange animals enjoying themselves and dancing to gramophone music in its light. Then, suddenly, the moon falls out of the sky, and a greedy dragon drags it into his cave and forces it to give him light while he eats all the cakes. When the nights stay dark, the animals come up with a plan. Otto Sacher, East Germany’s legendary animation director and co-founder of the DEFA Studio for Animation Film, was the artistic advisor for this film, the first of Dammbeck’s animated works.

A long time ago, there lived the brave young man Dajian and the beautiful girl Shuishe on the treasure island of Taiwan. They loved each other and often met under the big tree. Suddenly one day, the whole earth fell into darkness. It turned out that the demon dragon living in Blackwater Pond had stolen the sun and moon.

As a lunar eclipse commences, a frantic moon becomes increasingly twitchy as it attempts to hold back the darkness.
