Part of Crime & Punishment strand, Susanna Reid gains exclusive access to police evidence from the investigation into one of Britain’s most notorious serial killers, Joanne Dennehy, who murdered three men on a killing spree.

Through dramatic re-creation, archival newsreel footage and revealing interviews, director Fred Baker's docudrama explores the controversial murder case centered on Black Panther activist and political exile Assata Shakur. In 1977, Shakur was dubiously convicted for the shooting death of a New Jersey state trooper and was sentenced to life in prison, only to escape two years later and seek refuge in Cuba.

Joanne is a model, a teacher, a fighter, a chameleon. But when her private semi-nude photos went public, this woman of many talents came to be simply known as 'the topless teacher'. Together with her former student, artist Simon Fujiwara, she seeks to reclaim her image through social media and branding tactics. Shifting between advertisement and portraiture, this meta-narrative on identity manages to infuse playfulness in its layered commentary on who you are and how you're seen.

“JoAnn & Susan x2” begins with a female protagonist, JoAnn Elam, playfully modeling a red, knit blanket, superimposed by a rider, JoAnn's sister Susan Elam, and her steed moseying around a indoor corral in Grayslake, IL. As the juxtaposition continues, Susan meanders in the background and JoAnn time travels backward, through a series of segments utilizing the blanket's progression as a visual marker: she goes from modeling the finished blanket, to sowing the blankets seam, to knitting the blanket in progressively smaller increments.

Jo and the Pirates is a short film about Jo (Joanne), a fourteen year old girl living in her second foster home with two malicious foster siblings, an overworked foster mother, and the foster mother's layabout brother. On Halloween, after protecting her best friend from a neighborhood bully, Jo hides in the woods. She discovers a strange piece of glowing metal that takes her aboard the bridge of a space ship crewed by intergalactic pirates.

Jo Jo is an Edinburgh Goodfella with a sharp mind and a cavalier attitude to law. In the bleak, edgy climate of the 1980's Jo Jo is seen by many on the estate as a hero; out-manoeuvring the police while supporting his close-knit family. What is it that draws the charming and confident Jo Jo to Lorraine, a vulnerable woman obsessed by Marilyn Monroe? What figure from his past is fuelling his fantasies and driving him towards darker crimes and the quicksand of heroin? Can Jo Jo look after himself when he doesn't know who he is?
