Movie about unfinished treehouse memories winter

During another snowless winter, a famous freeride skier has a chance encounter with two kids on the street, which prompts him to dig through his grandfather's old family albums, capturing the snowy winters of the past. Immersing himself in the photos, the young man is transported to the parallel world of the winter mountains. Is winter irretrievably lost?

An old man lives in a cabin in the shadow of a big tree. He can't sleep at night due to the loud creaking sound of the branches. Memories of his past torment him and when a branch starts picking of the roof tiles of the cabin he decides to do something about his situation.

After losing his brother in a car accident, Robbie obsesses over the last conversation they had about a treehouse they wanted to build as kids. Through extreme isolation and a number of obstacles, Robbie attempts to build the treehouse to the exact specifications his brother wanted.

When his roommate announces a plan to move away, a wannabe screenwriter attempts to balance crafting his hard-to-explain new story and a realistic plan for his own future. After a sleepless night and a strange trip into the forest, those lines begin to blur.
