Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lt. Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as the Joker.

She then offers to take along the first of her admirers who is able to get her mother's consent.

Tom wants to throw a surprise party for his best friend Anna, since he’s a bit in love with her. Unfortunately, the bar has messed up his reservation - and the only room available at short notice is the phone booth in the backyard.

During an argument on a quiet street, an estranged couple believes that they hear gunshots nearby; sequestering themselves inside of a cramped telephone box, they begin to question the reality of their situation and attempt to escape.
