A small insect falls in love with a distraught housewife whose husband has just walked out on her. The bug is unable to gain her affection until he finds a book of magic spells. But his problems are not over yet.

As many insects happily go to work, a working bee sings and declares his love for a butterfly. A spider from a tree above who's jealous of the bee takes the butterfly and kidnaps her to a wooden place that he surrounds with his web. The bee gets help in rescuing his girlfriend from some horseradish flies (which are horses with wings) and the firebugs who ride the flies to the spider's lair and light his web on fire as the bee and butterfly sing like Nelson Eddy and Jennette McDonald for the conclusion...

A girl meets a creature with whom she falls in love. Their relationship quickly becomes impossible, their ways of loving are of a very different nature. The girl then decides to abandon her to her fate.

An entomologist finds a new type of bug in the meadow and would be glad to add it to his collection. But bugs don’t want to be museum objects – the two bug girls have to find a way to save their parents.

Early sound cartoon with an all-insect cast. An eager-to-please young bugler inadvertently annoys the king during a parade and tournament, but redeems himself by rescuing the king's daughter, who's been abducted by a really horrid-looking spider.

Insects have made a playground/carnival out of castoffs, featuring "ice skating" on mirrors. Two love bugs head off to a more private area. But their fun is interrupted when a crow comes by. He bottles up the male bug and chases the female into her home. The male bug escapes in the nick of time, and another bug notices the battle and rallies the rest of the bugs to attack, which they do, using false teeth, an eggbeater, a mousetrap, castor oil, and other things.

A little girl working as a carnival dancer is given a gift of a caterpillar as a joke. She spares the caterpillar's life, and becomes the Queen of the Butterflies. The film combines live-action sequences starring the director's daughter Jeanne (aka Nina Star) with puppet animation. Full of special effects, as with Starevich's previous films he used deceased insects as the protagonists of the film.
