A portrait of Maggie, through Swedish everyday life. Maggie always co-ordinates high heels with a beret, and she loves gold. She lives on the 15th floor in one of Malmö’s suburbs. Her balcony is littered with reminders of her previous life. Under a golf bag, next to a racing ticket from 1999, are the remains of a pigeon that she killed when she couldn’t sleep.

With little education, a dead end job and struggling to put food on the table, Maggie is forced to choose between the only family she has left and a better life for her and her daughter.

Maggie lives with chronic pain and is having a crisis of faith. To cope, she abuses her elderly mother’s opioid prescription. When unexpected tragedy strikes, she must find a new source to feed her growing addiction.

Maggie is an 18-year-old girl who leaves her adopted Christian home after her father's tragic death. Trying to fill a void in her life, Maggie feels the need to locate her birth mother. What she finds is not what she hoped for. Maggie finds a mother that does not love her or want her. Maggie gets caught up in this woman's world. After a few months enough becomes enough and when all hope is lost, one desperate night she reaches her breaking point. In a rage, she releases her frustrations by destroying the seedy hotel room that has been her home. At her feet falls a Bible, and it is then she realizes that there is only one thing that can break the bondage she is in and that is Jesus Christ our Savior.

Starring Shaun Scott (Marvel's Moonknight, The Kingsman) and Lukwesa Mwamba (Carnival Row, Eastenders), Maggie is the story of a reclusive old widower living in a state of decay. Seeing that his health is rapidly declining due to his poor living conditions, a young NHS health worker attempts to remove him from his home and into private care. However, when strange things start happening around the house, she discovers that maybe the lonely old man isn't completely alone after all and her life may be in grave danger.
