What's the grinder for

Ryan struggles to find meaning in his provisional existence, exploring sex and death and the idea of 'becoming something.'

A housewife is particularly determined to get her cooking knife sharpened by a travelling grinder, terrifying her neighbors and assorted pedestrians as she chases the man down the street while waving the weapon

Grinders is a comedy about the fear of existence, the fear of failure and the violence of thwarted artistic ambition. Four people, one house and seventy-five bad screenplays. Passion without talent and spirit without thought.

A 19-minute short film featuring the six performances of the Japanese performance art group Grinder-Man. Only released on VHS.
