Managing to escape, Travers must come up with proof to clear his name and bring the true killers to justice.

The farmer and the cow leave for the nearest town. In the saloon, the farmer sees an announcement of a reward of one thousand coins for catching a bandit in a black mask. Then he tells local cowboys where the bandit is hiding. Cowboys go to catch a bandit, but they return back all wounded.

Though blind during his capture, he nevertheless recognizes the voice of The Eagle in McElroy, a leading banker. After another escape from the gang, Vic manages to save Taggart and Amy from The Eagle's sticky clutches, exposes their operation, and proceeds on course with Amy.
