Man and boy on the run in the Outback

10 years after a global economic collapse, a hardened loner pursues the men who stole his car through the lawless wasteland of the Australian outback, aided by the brother of one of the thieves.

From the Rover Safety Bicycle in 1885 to the last Rover cars in 2005, this documentary traces the turbulent history of this famous British motor manufacturer. Many ex-Rover engineers are interviewed to help tell the story and also to get those historic anecdotes that can only be revealed by the people who were present at the time. In addition to the Rover personnel, owners of significant Rover models relate the history, before Rover historian James Taylor, concludes to tell the final collapse of MG Rover.

In 1931, three Aboriginal girls escape after being plucked from their homes to be trained as domestic staff, and set off on a trek across the Outback.

This documentary follows Phillip Noyce as he tries to find three aboriginal girls able to act in his film Rabbit Proof Fence. The film sees a cast of 100's whittled down to the eventual three girls and follows them through workshops and into the difficult shoot.

Well-known Australian anthropologist CP Mountford narrates his experiences on a journey through central Australia with a group of Aboriginal people. Mountford's films are an irreplaceable ethnographic record of the life of the Pitjantjatjara people of this area, before extended contact with European culture. It records food gathering and preparation, hunting, fire making and family life as well as scenes near and on the sacred rock formation, Uluru. This film was made from unrestricted footage shot by Mountford in 1940 and 1942 for his two 1946 films, Walkabout and Tjurunga.

Indigenous Detective Jay Swan arrives in the frontier town of Goldstone on a missing persons inquiry. What seems like a simple investigation unearths an intricate web of crime, corruption, human trafficking, and coordinated exploitation of indigenous people’s land. Jay must bury his differences with young local cop Josh, so together they can bring justice to Goldstone.
