Are you a man or are you a boy

Set in the year 2024 in post-apocalyptic America, 18-year old Vic and his telepathic dog, Blood, are scavengers in the desolate wilderness ravaged by World War IV, where survivors must battle for food and shelter in the desert-like wasteland. Vic and Blood eke out a meager existence, foraging for food and fighting gangs of cutthroats.

An obnoxious little toddler boy scares and hits a whimpering puppy in his charge until his mother comes in and puts him to bed and scolds him for his cruelty. Asleep, the boy dreams that the puppy has grown to dinosaur size, bursting through walls, chasing down the brat until retribution looks nigh.

Am I a Boy or Girl is a series designed to record, share and celebrate the personal stories of transgender women and men from across Canada; stories of struggle, of courage and of triumph.

A film album with stories of people who go beyond the division into women and men who do not feel that they are neither female nor male. “Are you a girl or a boy?” Is the most common question for the characters in the film. How to answer it? And is it worth answering?

A young girl who has lived his life confused, finds out he isn’t who he thinks he is. With the support of his friend, he transforms into his true self.

Woman or man? Man or woman? A dipole inextricably linked to the human condition. A dipole that, however, seems incapable of expressing the diversity of gender identity.
