The film centers on a woman and her room. I tried to visualise the memories and the time accumulated in the room. The dancing figure that was captured using long exposures is an entity between the existential and imaginary.

She moved with grace and elegance of a butterfly as the notes played the melody of a music box. With her heart and mind torn she found the only escape for her was within The Dance.

A widower (David Westhead) returns home after his wife’s cremation to find his house filled with memories of their life together, yet tragically empty. He finds some old film reels from their youth packed away of his wife teaching him how to dance a waltz. He decides to film himself dancing the counter part and then project the two films on top of each other, so that he and his wife are once again side by side.

Bok-hee’s splendid years have faded, and now she finds herself in old age. Having lost her husband and with her daughter living separately, she leads a solitary life. One day, a club opens across her house. Late at night, Bok-hee is stirred from her sleep by the music resonating from the club—it sounds familiar. It’s the same tune she used to dance to with her friends when young. Fueled by nostalgia, Bok-hee decides to visit the club, hoping to relive those cherished memories. Yet, upon arrival, she is greeted by a reality far from her expectations.
