Is tomorrow the day

In the age we live in, we must confront the mistakes we have made in our relationship with nature, and we cannot predict what tomorrow might bring. This uncanny experience is also the source of the suspense dominating Pierre Ajavon’s films. The circular form at first reminiscent of the anthropocentric practices of surveillance/government temporarily leaves the sense of control to the spectator. But as it slowly transforms into the image of the planet combined with the auditory elements such as the gong, the heartbeat, and the Geiger counter, we realize that our concerns for the future are not groundless

An underground black market has surfaced, allowing individuals to acquire the extraordinary ability to traverse between realities. The creators of this clandestine technology employ anonymous agents to discreetly deliver these highly coveted portals. To maintain the confidentiality of these transactions, "couriers" are intentionally kept in the dark about the contents of their deliveries and are generously compensated to deter any inquiries. However, when a fellow courier mysteriously disappears, Jackie becomes determined to uncover the truth, no matter the cost.
