Hi, I’m trying to find a movie I watched on DVD around 2000–2010. It was a live-action fantasy, possibly European (French or Spanish). The tone was weird, comedic, and a bit musical, like a silly fairy tale. I remember: A blonde woman with medium curly hair A witch similar to the one in Into the Woods (ugly, exaggerated, theatrical) The witch had a strange/deformed assistant A “prince” who didn’t know how to kiss Another male character, more of a flirt, possibly in a desert setting Some musical scenes There might be a mother telling a story and entering a fantasy world. Most specific detail: a scene where the witch is in a cave/tower trying to watch TV and adjusting a satellite dish.

Danielle, a vibrant young woman, was forced into servitude after the death of her father when she was a young girl.
